Immigrant Visas

General Information

The immigrant visa process begins when an American company, an American citizen or a legal permanent resident files a petition for a qualified employee or relative with the Department of Homeland Security.  Qualified applicants will be notified by mail of their interview date.  All immigrant visa interviews are conducted at the American Embassy in Tegucigalpa.  For more information regarding immigrant visas, please see the Immigrant Visa section of the Embassy website.
