Meet the City Team

Staffing a new concept like a Virtual Consulate represents a new problem for U.S. Missions abroad.  The members of the Virtual City Team need to be technically savvy, knowledgable on all aspects of U.S. - Honduran relations, and familiar with the many different agencies and departments in the Embassy.  Above all, the City Team must be ready to travel to San Pedro Sula and the north coast on a moment's notice to coordinate and publicize the many different events and activities that go on in the north.

"These are the most adventuresome people in the Embassy," said Charles Ford, U.S. Ambassador to Honduras.  "We trust them to deliver a new type of presence in the important region of San Pedro Sula."
