Notaries

Requirements:

1. Proof of identity. Your passport or any other type of government-issued identification card as long as it has your photograph and your complete name.
2. Fee of $30.00. Fees may be paid in U.S. dollars or the equivalent in Lempiras. There is an additional cost of $20.00 for each additional notarial related to the original document.

If your documents require witnesses you will need to bring them with you and they must present government-issued identification as well.

Document authentifications (certification of a genuine signature) cannot be performed by the San Pedro Sula office.  Please see the Embassy website for information regarding authentifications.
